  3.      Public Address version 3.10 is not compatible with versions prior
  4.      to version 3.03.  If this is a registered version please refer to
  5.      the instruction sheet on how to run the convert program to convert
  6.      your old Public Address files.  If you have been evaluating a
  7.      prior version of Public Address please refer to the VENDOR.DOC
  8.      file to read about the new features in version 3.10.  When you
  9.      decide to register you will be furnished with the convert
  10.      program.

  12.      INSTALLING PUBLIC ADDRESS

  14.      1)   Copy all the file on this disk to a directory on your
  15.           hard drive or you can run Public Address from this Floppy
  16.           by simply typing PA and pressing your enter key.  I have
  17.           also included a small install program that will create a 
  18.           directory on your C drive named PA and copy all the file 
  19.           from this disk to the directory.  No frills.  If you are
  20.           going to be distributing this program as a Vendor or BBS
  21.           please make a copy of it BEFORE you run it from this disk.
  22.           It will create a configuration file when started that may
  23.           be non-compatible with other users systems.

  25.      2)   You can print the documentation be typing:  COPY *.DOC
  26.           PRN at the DOS prompt or typing: PRINT *.DOC.  Make sure
  27.           you are in the same drive and directory that Public Address
  28.           was installed to when you do this.

  31.      RUNNING PUBLIC ADDRESS

  33.      1)   Type PA from the drive or directory Public Address was
  34.           installed to.  READ THE MANUAL!!  Read ALL files with the
  35.           extension DOC.  See #2 from above!

  37.      NEW FEATURES SINCE VERSION 3.03

  39.      I added the ability to pick which return address is the
  40.      default from six.  And I also made it so that you can have
  41.      different configurations for your laser printer or dot-matrix
  42.      printer.  I again found a few more tricks to make it run a
  43.      little faster.  I also moved the label number selection from
  44.      the print menu to the configuration menu.  If your printer
  45.      type is "L"aser you will be presented with the laser label
  46.      selection screen otherwise you will get the "D"ot-matrix label
  47.      selection screen.  I have also added the ability for Public 
  48.      Address to assist employers with matching there employees
  49.      for car pooling.  I found a few places where I could stream-line
  50.      the code.  I was also able to make it easier at the same time.
  51.      Every time you enter anything in the configuration it will
  52.      automatically turn to upper case.  I also have improved the error
  53.      checking a little too.  I added the ability to start printing from
  54.      any position on a sheet of laser labels.

  56.      The biggest difference is Public Address now supports tagging and
  57.      copying records from one input file to another.  You can also
  58.      turn off or on auto sorting, and auto duplicate deletion.

  61.      your Shareware today.  Read the file entitles REGISTER.DOC
